Copper Belt Lodge is a renowned racing stable located in Awahuri, near Palmerston North, New Zealand. It is the home base for the father-and-son training partnership of Kevin and Stephen Gray, who have reestablished their operations there following Stephen’s successful 20-year career in Singapore. The Grays have a rich history at Copper Belt Lodge, having previously trained over 400 winners together before Stephen’s move overseas in 2000. Since returning to New Zealand, Stephen and his wife Bridget have revitalised Copper Belt Lodge with upgraded facilities, including new paddocks and training equipment.
